THE HIVE CAFE
The Hive Café located on Lake Osceola, at the heart of the University of Miami campus, serves as the perfect hang out spot for students to grab a bite to eat, do schoolwork, and chat with friends. By placing the café directly on the lake, winds ventilate through the louver screens, allowing the building to operate without the use of air conditioning, making it more energy efficient. The orange and green stained-glass windows of the geodome add the perfect touch of school spirit to this hot spot hangout.

The Hive Café seats 111 guests and is a total of 3,000 sqft. The top floor is programed with a central kitchen that doubles as a bar. The bottom floor holds additional seating as well as two ADA compliant bathrooms.
