Spiritual Center
The aim of this project is to design a new Faith Campus at the University of Miami that is inclusive to all religions. With Spirituality as my chosen faith, I designed a center that encompasses the beliefs and necessary programming for someone of this religion. Elements such as sacred geometries, water, light, and nature play an important role in creating a tranquil environment for activities such meditation, mindfulness, and yoga.

FORM PROGRESSION
The Golden Section, also known as the Golden Ratio or Divine Proportion, is a mathematical concept that describes a specific ratio found in various aspects of nature, art, and architecture. Some individuals and cultures have sought to find spiritual or metaphysical significance in its prevalence in the natural world and in human creations.

The progression of each level of the spiritual space allows for a more intense spiritual experience. The first floor is allotted for group yoga, then group meditation on the second, and finally individual meditation on the highest level.
The elements of light and water come together to produce dancing patterns of light (caustic reflections/projections), creating the perfect tranquil environment for meditation and yoga. In addition to this, colored LED cove lights have been placed to help create different moods within the space.
